The striking, and graphic nature of their work is reflected in the bold stripes and optical patterns throughout the scarf, woven with Gilbert and George’s signature colour combinations, which pop against the calmer grey-scale areas. Grids and sharp outlines often seen in their work, inspired the use of the pinstripe, and checkerboard detailing.
